Zytiuk Meoi was a female Kel Dor Jedi Master during the warning days of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, Meoi served as a Senior Jedi General and led many successful battles. After Order 66 was issued, Zytiuk went into exile on Onderon, where she was killed by Darth Vader, her former part-time student. She wielded a green lightsaber.
Biography[]
Zytiuk was born on Dorin sixty-one years before the battle of Yavin. Shortly after her birth, the Wookiee Jedi Master Secavvuu came to Dorin seeking a Padawan. Secavvuu took Zytiuk from her parents and traveled back to Coruscant.
Jedi training[]

Secavvuu brought young Meoi to the Jedi Council. Yoda and other members of the Council agreed that Zytiuk was to be trained, and that Secavvuu was to be her master, despite the fact that she was still an infant. Shortly after, Secavvuu's lifetime of experience allowed him to began teaching her in the ways of the Force. Meoi rose the top of her class, especially interested in holocrons. Her interest in ancient knowledge of both the Jedi and the Sith disturbed a few, including Madame Jocasta Nu, who was still a member of the Jedi Council at the time, but they felt confident, as Zytiuk was know to very mature and responsible, and they felt she knew her limits.
During her time on Coruscant, she befriended fellow Ithorian Padawan Traeh Habat, being trained under Duros Jedi Knight Asuieraw. They became very close friends, and stayed that way until Habat's death during Order 66.
Zytiuk remained with Secavvuu for thirteen years, and they grew a strong bond. The Wookiee taught Zytiuk Makashi, and she became one of the best Makashi practitioners during the time, also training under Cin Drallig and the legendary Makashi swordsman Count Dooku, the best Makashi duelist of the era. They remained friends until Secavvuu was killed when his starfighter was shot down over a mission to Klatooine. Dug terrorists were attempting to bomb the Fountain of Ancients, a holy place for Klatooinians. Meoi and Secavvuu went to Klatooine, only to be ambushed by Dug fighters. The pair destroyed many fighters, but soon more were released from the Dug flagship, the Malastarian Jungle. The ships homed onto the two, and along with the dozen of so already on their tail, they were being overwhelmed. As Zytiuk punched in the hyperspace coordinates, Secavvuu knew it was his end. They most were on him, and he knew he could not escape in time. He knew the only way to save Zytiuk was to sacrifice himself. He only uttered only the last part if the Jedi Code.

As Zytiuk's Delta-7 began the jump to hyperspace, she realized what this meant. She turned around to see her master spin around, and in an act of horror, attack the dozen Dug fighters. All the terrorists aimed for Meoi changed course, and fired on Secavvuu. As her fighter exited into hyperspace, she saw her master's fighter explode, taking with it her beloved friend and mentor. She attended her master's funeral on his home planet of Kashyyyk, then trained under the compassionate Gran Jedi Master Snjai Jewyo, until finally achieving the rank of Jedi Knight.

After becoming a Jedi Knight, Meoi took the Xexto Oieb-65 as a Padawan. Oieb was especially talented in solving problems. They became quick friends, often helping each other. As Zytiuk came across mysteries in holocrons, she asked Oieb for help. He often solved these mysteries quickly, and both grew in knowledge. In return, Zytiuk trained him in both the ways of the Force, as well as in the Soresu form of lightsaber combat. During her time as a Jedi Knight, she got to know many Kel Dor Jedi, such as Council member Plo Koon, who was very similar to her, as he was also trained by a Wookiee Jedi Master, the legendary Tyvokka, also a member of the Council until his death during the Stark Hyperspace War.
Oieb and Meoi became very successful, resolving a conflicts that even members of the Council had trouble with. He often teamed up with his old friend Traeh, who had barely managed to finish his training, as Asuieraw was killed shortly after. Traeh even taught Zytiuk and Oieb an ancient Ithorian technique that helped one became closer to his Force, one that one of his grandfathers used on an exiled Jedi. Eventually, Oieb-65 became a Knight, and so Zytiuk became a Master.
Jedi Master[]
Zytiuk trained three full Padawans in her time: a Human male named Murfy Swqio, a Duinuogwuin called Giyo'Hfa'xib. She also helped complete the training of an orphaned Child of the Green Planet, Tee Eee. By the time her final Padawan became a Knight, Meoi had already been a well-respected Jedi for a long time. She also became good friends with Madame Jocasta Nu, as both shared a love for history and knowledge. Zytiuk also helped Nu tend to the archives. During her time as a Master, she got to know Anakin Skywalker, the supposed "Chosen One". She taught him about Jedi and Sith history, but never told him the story of Darth Plagueis the Wise.
Clone Wars[]
While Mace Windu led a strike team of Jedi to Geonosis to rescue Master Obi-Wan-Kenobi, Skywalker, and Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo, Meoi stayed back with Traeh and Master Depa Billaba to watch over the younglings, and thus did not participate in the Battle of Geonosis.
During the rest of the Clone Wars, however, Zytiuk served as a Senior Jedi General. She participated in and survived the Battle of Praesitlyn, where she unfortunately lost her second Padawan, Murfy Swqio. She also later survived the Battle of Boz Pity. She became the General of the 42nd ARC Corps, which she commanded with an ARC trooper by the name of Joler. They led many successful battles together, including the Battle of Bruvia, which ended as a major success.
Exile[]
Order 66[]
Zytiuk was stationed on Bal'demnic with Traeh during the enactment of Order 66, helping the Kon'me clean up the mess after the battle there. They were talking to Joler, when Palpatine contacted him. Noticing the clones draw their weapons, Zytiuk and Traeh drew their lightsabers. Zytiuk was forced to decapitate Joler, despite them being close friends. Habat easily took care of the rest. They immediately ran for a staging area.
When they got to one, they noticed many clone troopers and LAATs. They needed to get to one. Using the Force, the pair managed to easily reach a gunship. They killed the clones aboard and hid their bodies quickly. However, the pilot managed to pull the alarm before they could make their escape. As the clones began shooting at them, they managed to destroy wings and other essential parts, preventing the LAAT/i from taking off. The two ignited their sabers and killed many troopers, but they saw all the ships taking off Zytiuk and Traeh's escape. They quickly sprinted with haste to the nearest gunship, and with some help from the Force, managed to jump on just in time. After killing the entire crew, Zytiuk flew the gunship, as Traeh defended the ship from the incoming blaster bolts. Unfortunately, this would be his own undoing. A turbolaser shot at the gunship, missing twice, but eventually targeted one heading directly for the ship. Habat tried to use the Force to stop it, but it was too late. He had to change its course. Using all his strength, he redirected the shot on himself. Habat was killed instantly, his body falling from the ship into the ocean, but he also saved the life of his best friend, allowing her more time to escape. Meoi entered hyperspace, and flew into space.
Meeting with Bail, Obi-Wan, & Yoda[]
Zytiuk, still grieving from Traeh's death eventually came to a transmission from Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan. He told her that he had found Masters Yoda and Kenobi. Both were attacked during Order 66, and that many Jedi were already dead. After hearing the distress call from the Temple, they were heading to Coruscant to deactivate it, so any surviving Jedi would not be killed. Zytiuk flew to the Tantive IV and regrouped with them. Soon it was decided that Obi-Wan and Yoda would go deactivate the signal, and Zytiuk would try and find any surviving Jedi on Coruscant. They would all regroup on Polis Massa.
Zytiuk could not find any Jedi survivors, and flew to Polis Massa. When contacted by Senator Organa, he told her that Obi-Wan and Yoda had found Oieb-65 in the Temple, dead, as well as Palpatine and Anakin were responsible. He also told her that they had set out to kill them. Grieving for both the death of her best friend, friends, and first Padawan, threw Meoi with a great hatered for the Supreme Chancellor and Skywalker. Soon later, Organa arrived with Yoda. Obi-Wan returned with Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo, C-3PO, and R2-D2. Senator Amidala was dying, and Zytiuk watched as she gave birth to Luke and Leia, and then died. She met with Yoda, Kenobi, and Organa, and after it was decided where themselves and the children would go, Zytiuk was taught about Force ghosts, and went into exile on Onderon.

Zytiuk on Onderon
Zytiuk went into exile on Onderon. She lived there for the next fourteen years as a merchant. Her knowledge about plants and the environment helped her acquire goods for barter. She rarely wore her lightsaber, only claiming to have found it if caught, or using Jedi mind tricks on weak-minded stormtroopers. She was also unable to use the Force, and could not help anyone in trouble to avoid drawing attention her herself. Her robes disappeared, and she was forced to wear simple, yet less comfortable clothes to hide her identity. Meoi built a small hut in the wilderness of Onderon, which was easily concealed, but could easily been accessed if known.
Death[]
Five years before the Battle of Yavin, a bystander realized that she had been wearing a lightsaber in disguise. He alerted the Empire, and Darth Vader personally flew to Onderon to hunt her down. After realizing Vader was after her, she acted quickly and swiftly. As she made her way towards her personal starfighter, the Electric Karma, a stormtrooper spotted her. Alerting Vader, he quickly made for the Electric Karma.
As Zytiuk was about to get in, she realized something was wrong. The door was sealed shut by a lightsaber. She turned around to see Darth Vader standing there. She ignited her saber and charged for Vader. Her Makashi skills proved very effective, effectively blocking and parrying Skywalker's stikes. Unfortunately, she was unable to land a blow on him. Even more unfortunate, stormtroopers arrived and entered the fray. As they shot blaster shots at her, she had much trouble deflecting them. Makashi was mainly meant for lightsaber to lightsaber, not against blasters. She was forced to dodge the bolts while dueling Vader. Unfortunately, she could not do both at the same time for long, and was shot in the back. As she dropped dying, she stared into Skywalker's helmet, and learned something important. Darth then executed the Jedi Master with a swing of his blade to the chest.
Immediately appearing the Anakin, Zytiuk pleaded for him to turn back to the light.

Abilities and personality and traits[]
Zytiuk, like many of her species, had a strong sense of justice, as well as had strong telepathic powers. Kel Dor usually saw issues in black and white, and often settled problems with "rough justice," which many other species found too close to vigilantism. She was even more identical to Kel Dor Jedi, who wore talons to increase her Force powers, and also used Electric Judgment like Plo Koon. Due to her interest in history and knowledge, she had a high willpower and a stronger mind than the ability of her impressive saber skills. She wore a breath mask and protective goggles as all Kel Dor that left Dorin did, as oxygen was harmful to the species and that they required helium and a gas native to Dorin to breath.

Zytiuk carried a green curved lightsaber to increase her skill of Makashi. It used Alvaro in the hilt, a mineral only found on her native Dorin, which gave her lightsaber a more sturdy hilt, as well as being violet, a color very rare in lightsabers, found even rarer in lightsaber hilts.
Robes[]
Meoi wore many different color robes. Normally, she wore normal, traditional, darker Jedi robes. She did however, wear blue colored on certain occasions, or on important missions.
Miscellanea[]
Zytiuk wore many things wore by offworld Kel Dor did, as well as Kel Dor Jedi. She wore both an antiox breath mask and protective goggles as all Kel Dor that left Dorin did, as oxygen was harmful to them and that they required helium and a gas native to Dorin to breath. She also wore talons, like many Kel Dor Jedi, to increase her Force abilities.
