Star Wars Fanon
Rise of the Empire era

When I secretly joined the Separatists, my loyalty to Dooku was honorable, but I never knew he would deceive me when he ordered my death. I was a fool to turn against the Republic, due to its corruption. Since I ran from Dooku, I had no choice but to serve my loyalty to the Republic again. I don't care of its corrupt, but since I was weak inside my mind, I did not solve anything. I hope the Republic will be restored and the corruption will end when this war turns away throughout the galaxy.
—Zurros explaining to Amidala and Organa about his betrayal

Zurros was a male Falleen Senator of the Galactic Republic who represented Falleen in the Senate during the Clone Wars.

Biography[]

I will fight to the last against those Separatist scums that deceived me.
—Zurro's last stand against the Separatists during the Siege on Coruscant

Zurros attempted to play both Separatists and Loyalists against each other in the Senate, until Count Dooku ordered Quinlan Vos to assassinate him on The Wheel in 21 BBY. However, Vos merely frightened him into supporting Confederate interests, in order to forestall the problem of having to deal with his replacement and to avoid killing. Dooku approved of the intelligent move.

In 20 BBY, Zurros served his true allegiance to the Republic after his betrayal by Count Dooku. He continued his service to the Loyalist Committee when the Separatists prepared for their invasion on Coruscant. Zurros decided to stay and fight with several Falleen to defend the Senate building. When battle droids were marching inside the Senate building, Zurros and his warriors were defending the hallway, and were this close to overwhelm the enemy. This was when several droids threw a couple grenades, and Zurros and his group were killed in the blast. One of his warriors was still alive, and continued to shoot at the remaining before he died from his wounds.
