Zona Luka was a female Vultan Jedi Knight who was active during the Great Sith War. She was trained in the Jedi ways by the respected Jedi Master Dominus, who considered Luka his dearest student. However, she developed a strong relationship with Oss Wilum which Dominus found out about this.
Biography[]
Meeting Exar Kun[]
Born in the years which led to the Great Sith War, Zona Luka was admitted into the Jedi Order to be trained in the ways of the Force. Luka became the apprentice of Jedi Master Dominus, who considered the Vultan to be his dearest student. Under Dominus' guidance, Luka eventually became a full-fledged Jedi Knight. After completing her Knight trials, she developed a strong relationship with Oss Wilum who developed training in the Order. Luka and Oss once shared their first kiss until Dominus discovered this. Dominus didn't interfere since he loved his student, and feared that breaking them apart would be a bad idea. In 3,996 BBY, she and Oss traveled to Ossus to meet with Jedi Knight Exar Kun. They met him in the Gardens of Talla regarding a renewal of the Jedi way. Luka and a group of fellow Jedi, including Oss Wilum, Cay Qel-Droma, Crado, and several Jedi gathered in the Gardens to listen to Kun's words. However, it was revealed that Exar Kun was in fact a Sith Lord which the group didn't notice since the dark side clouded their vision. The Sith Lord claimed that he had discovered great secrets of the Force and would share them with any who joined him. He told the assembled Knights that the old Jedi Masters had failed to contain the influence of the dark side, which Luka agreed on. Luka's statement was supported by Kun, who proclaimed that he had destroyed the spirit of former Dark Lord of the Sith Freedon Nadd, and had succeeded where the Jedi Masters had failed.
Death and Redemption[]
Kun commanded Luka and the other new dark side followers to kill their former Masters, to make way for a new order in the galaxy. Luka set out to find Dominus and tracked him down at his home. Dominus was devastated that his dearest student has turned to the dark side. He pleaded with her to stop this and return to the light side since he truly loved her. Both of them ignited their lightsabers and engaged themselves to a duel. Luka was able to strike down the aging Master, but Dominus killed his fallen apprentice with the Force as he lay dying. After they were both killed, Zona was redeemed and she eventually became one with the Force, along with her master.
Spirit of the Force[]
After her death, Zona appeared as a Force ghost to Oss Wilum when he returned to his homeworld in Exile. Zona apologized for eveything that has happened, and promised to undo the mistakes that has happened to the Jedi Order. Oss forgave her, since redemption will always be part of the Force. This eventually led him to his death on 3,986 BBY from an unknown purpose. The two were reunited in the Netherworld and shared their memory which was honored in a monument on New Holstice.
