I've served under two different Mandalores in my life. Both had very different ways of doing things. I intend to mix the two.

Zix Farr, also known as Mandalore the Noble (Te Kandosii Mand'alor in Mand'oa), was a Mandalorian commando and leader of the Mandalorians after Mandalore the Preserver. Born on Talravin shortly after the end of the Great Sith War, Zix's home was raided by Mandalorians and he was taken captive. After attempting to fight his way out, the Mandalorians saw that he had a warrior's heart. They freed him and inducted him into the Mandalorians. After succeeding in his Verd'goten, Zix joined Clan Ordo.
When Zix was still in his teens, though an adult by Mandalorian tradition, the Mandalorians began a conquest of the Unkown Regions. Several years later, Zix took part in the genocide of the Cathar species. He was among the commandos that assassinated the Cathar's leaders before descending onto the planet to slaughter the Cathar civilians. At the time, Zix felt no remorse for his actions and proudly stated that he had followed the orders of Mandalore. Years later, however, he admitted that he had thought over his part in the genocide and had come to regret it deeply.
Years later, the Mandalorians were still fighting. By now, the war was being fought between the Mandalorians and the Galactic Republic and the Mandalorians had the advantage. That was until a Jedi Knight named Revan led a faction of Jedi into the war. Despite early victories against the Revanchists, the Mandalorians were eventually pushed back. The final battle of the war came at Malachor V and the activation of the Mass Shadow Generator. One of the few Mandalorians to survive the battle, Zix and his company of commandos went off on their own to pursue a living as mercenaries.
Around a decade after Malachor, Zix was found by Mandalore the Preserver.
