The Zerego family was an upper-class Ingzan noble family and ruling family of the Vénkáíláz Mountains region of Ingza Prime, Ingza Prime was split up between feudal lords and ladies which ruled the regions on behalf of the Ingzan sovereign, who they paid homage to. This family became highly famous across the Ingzan colonies of the empire after Kysa Zerego became the V'ei'ka and was greatly loved and worshipped by her people. After Kysa's good reign her family remained famous. She also inspired many of her descendants to work in religion, e.g. Gakaza Zerego, a V'ei'ka and her brother, Mikki Zerego, B'Kekara (Religious Advisor) to his sister.
As with the rest of the Ingza the ancestors of the Zeregans came from the planet Earth. On Earth the Zerego family ruled the powerful Zerego Kingdom, one of the most powerful kingdom of Ancient Earth, the Zerego family were the ancestors of the Zarkan family, who would rise to prominence many millenia later.
Following being taken from Earth by ancient aliens, believed to be the ancient N'Akkiarla, and settled on Ingza Prime they commanded their follows to being building a new Zeregan kingdom, their subjects worked hard, and in short order had created several cities.
The earliest cities were crime-ridden hellholes full of disease, poverty, crime and other social plagues. However these were eventually combatted. The Zeregans took their place as one of the ruling families of Ingza Prime.
Around this time the Zerego family made there own family religion the main Ingzan religion, this religion involved worship of the gooddesses V'ei'ka and Méróló
After several centuries of rule the Zerego family were removed from the throne by a rebellion headed by the powerful Áátorí family after being removed from power the Zerego family continued to live an upper-class lifestyle. This back-stabbing by their some of their most faithful servants angered many generations of Zeregans, most of whom believed the Áátorís should have been punished for treason against their masters. Animosity lingered between the two families for centuries, there was several incidents between the families which nearly causes blood feuds.
The tall gene ran through Zerego family bloodlines as Zeregans were usually tall compared to other Ingzans, e.g. Jeka Zerego 6'6 whilst the average of an Ingzan man was 6'0. Kysa was 6'3, whilst the average height of Ingzan women was 6'1.
Religious beliefs[]
V'ei'ka is our family goddess, we have worshipped her since ancient times, since before the unified Ingzan civilisation came about. Since we were the most powerful family who spearheaded Ingzan civilisation, most fellow Ingzans adopted V'ei'ka as there goddess, some are more persistent and still worship there own family gods.

In the days before the unification of the Ingzan families into a single nation each family had there own religious beliefs - there own gods and goddesses and religious stories and myths. The Zerego family believed in the goddess V'ei'ka and that she created everything, and sacrificed her eyes to let living things see. Around 40,000 BBY the Ingzan tribes decided to unify into a single government, spearheading this unification was the Zerego tribe, at this time the most powerful tribe on Ingza Prime.
Since the Zerego tribe was the major driving force behind the unification the Zeregan family goddess, V'ei'ka, was chosen as the main Ingzan goddess (with Méróló, goddess of Yásíyá family chosen as the secondary goddess in the new bitheistic Ingzan religion). Despite V'ei'ka and Méróló being the two goddesses of mainstream Ingzan religion some families continued to worship there own family gods for many years, many eventually converting to the mainstream religion.

- Vyyzgalak 'Burr-Hureg - The N'Akkiarlian called "Vyyzgalak 'Burr-Hureg" was the father, as well as the master, of the Zerego family, he founded the family after having a secret affair with with his native Earthling servant called Hólóká Zerego, his blood flowed through the paternal side of the Zerego family, as a result he was often known as the "Father of the Zerego", the "Great Father" or the "Family Master" by the family.
- Hólóká Zerego - The first matriarch of the Zerego family, Hólóká was born on Earth several decades before 50,000 BBY, as a young women she was bedded by her master, Vyyzgalak 'Burr-Hureg, who was secretly taking part in the "Great Birthing", she gave birth to a son called Jácó Zerego, and she went on to be the maternal founder of the family, and her blood flowed through the maternal line of the family, as a result she was often known as the "Mother of the Zerego" or the "Great Mother" by her descendants. Hólóká was also the ancestor of Jyoznarr 'Burr-Hureg and his branch of the 'Burr-Hureg family.
