Zelin Kayembe was a scout trooper major in the Stormtrooper Corps, serving the Galactic Empire, several warlord factions after the Battle of Endor, and ultimately, the Imperial Remnant. Born in 26 BBY on the mountainous planet of Waskiro, Kayembe worked in the world's extensive mines since he was fifteen years old. Growing up during the early reign of the Empire, he grew up looking up to it as a sort of stabilizing force in the galaxy, believing in the New Order. So at age eighteen, he joined the Stormtrooper Corps, and after testing, it was found he was a good shot, and thus he was trained as a scout trooper. Kayembe was considered a deadly shot by his comrades and superiors, and was recommended for Storm Commando training—however, the disaster at Endor occurred before the recommendation was processed, and being among the few survivors of Tempest Force, Kayembe was rejected for the program. However, he tried to continue serving the central government as the Empire broke apart into warlord kingdoms.
