Yethen Vorchak was a diminutive Jedi Master and Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.
Biography[]
Early career[]
Yethen Vorchak was brought to the Jedi Temple at an early age, and by the age of ten, the blue-skinned, fish-like being from Aquraw was elected to the Galactic Senate to represent the Jedi Order. After only five years of being a senator, he was elected to become a Supreme Chancellor.
Heroics[]
Coruscant was sacked by the Confederacy of Independent Systems within his third years as Chancellor, and the negotiations quickly deteriorated. Vorchak was speeding along in his pod-speeder, the Chancellery, when a blast from a flak gun blew out the right engine. The middle and left engines were tattered by the explosion, but they still worked, though not nearly as well as they used to. When an ion cannon impacted the pod, the cockpit fell, still attached to the engine nacelles, and the entire thing fell thousands of feet before the engines could keep it aloft, and then zoom upwards. The chancellor now realized that he was in even greater danger of being propelled out into space. The same flak gun that put him in this situation then bailed him out by making it worse by shooting out his left engine. The Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress then leaped onto his pod and severed the center engine. The Chancellor ejected, then ignited his lightsaber as an onslaught of STAPs flew forward. His green blade sliced the head off of the first battle droid, and as its stap began to plummet, he jumped onto the next, and the process repeated itself before he finally got to the stap commandeered by Asajj Ventress herself. He tried to kill her, but she pushed him with the force and followed his plummeting form, shooting at him. The Jedi managed to save himself by grabbing a passing airspeeder. Asajj gave chase before being tackled by Yoda. She survived her fall, and Yoda left for the Jedi Temple. The chancellor then speeder-hopped his way back to the Senate Building, where he was cut down by fire from homing spider droids, but he survived. The war was ended, and he was eventually assassinated by Finis Valorum, who promptly used subterfuge to get his position.
