Xv1 was a renegade Armored Assault Tank driver who had his connection with the central droid computer destroyed. He survived the Clone Wars and built up a large remnant of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' droid army , Xv1's droid army.

Clone Wars[]
Xv1 first saw action during the engagement on Geonosis that started the Clone Wars. During the battle, he commanded a battalion of Armored Assault Tanks and Hailfire droids. Xv1 took a critical hit to the head and shut down. Ten minutes later, he awoke with a new idea and plan: run and live a free life. He destroyed the rest of his tank's crew and drove off, narrowly missing Galactic Republic All Terrain Tactical Enforcers and battle droids. Xv1 fled to one of the Separatist hangars and stole a shuttle, planning to leave the world. His plan, however, did not work, as he was shot down by Republic forces and crashed into the hangar of a Trade Federation Lucrehulk-class droid control ship. Xv1 survived the crash, fled the crash site and infiltrated the bridge, where he murdered the living crew and created a signal that allowed him to reprogram the remaining battle droids on the ship. With a small army and means of escape, Xv1 left Geonosis and fled to the nearest star system: Evisonx.
Evisonx was a small star system inhabited by pirates and other scum, but due to the formers' lack of leadership and proper training and tactics, Xv1’s forces overwhelmed and crushed them. Those who survived pledged themselves to Xv1, and promised to serve him in his armies. With a fleet and army, Xv1 would begin his dark reign of terror and fear across the galaxy.
Xv1 soon became a mercenary for the highest bidder or winning side, working for both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Galactic Republic many times, trading valuable secrets that would tip the balance of the war in the favor of the Galactic Republic. However, this would cost millions of thousands of credits from the Galactic Republic, allowing him to build up a massive army and navy. Many Republic leaders saw this as one of the causes of the Republic's poor economy and as a sign of the Jedi Order's desperation to win the war. Xv1 was hired by the Republic to assist their forces on Geonosis due to the fact that he served with the Confederacy's forces in the original battle and had kept many records of battle for future purposes. He and an elite group of BX-series commando droids helped destroy key Confederate artillery positions and security systems that were stopping the Republic's air forces during the campaign. He would later sabotage Separatist hangars and reprogram or shut down battle droids and vehicles along with secret plans and codes. After leaving Geonosis for a second time, Xv1 happily left “gifts” for the Republic forces that remained.
Personality and traits[]
Xv1 was cold and ruthless, taking what he wanted and killing anything that stood in his way. He cared not for politics but just that there was a war to fight and something to loot. He and his pirate war band were infamous for attacking shipping lanes and making every attack extremely precise and planned down to the last detail. Xv1 was known to execute those who failed him and prisoners at random, depending on his mood.
Modifications and equipment[]
Xv1 had his original body armor reinforced heavily and mixed with other droids' parts such as those of BX-series commando droids. This made him fairly durable and able to carry several weapons, including a modified E-5 blaster rifle, two knuckle plate vibro blades and a vibrosword. Many great warriors met their end by mistaking Xv1 for a B1 battle droid—a grave mistake.
