Woné was a female Human who served as a loyal handmaiden to King Ars Veruna during the waning years of the Galactic Republic.
Biography[]
After Veruna became King, Woné served as loyal handmaiden to him. The King saw how young and beautiful she was, and had a secret relationship with her. Maris Magneta discovered their relationship, and attended to break it, but the King tells her to let it go. Woné was very excited and held hope that she would be queen someday and asked Veruna to marry her.
However, when Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious (secretly Palpatine), arrived to Theed to make a deal with the King. Veruna refused to resign from the throne and allow the Trade Federation to form a blockade on Naboo. Before Plagueis was about to leave, he discovered that he was in love with Woné and decided have her killed in order for Veruna to abdicate the throne. When Woné was inside her room to await her lover, Plagueis entered and used the force to choke her to death. Plagueis quietly left the room until Veruna entered and found Woné dead.
After her death, Veruna abdicated his throne until he met his end by Palpatine. Palpatine used the Force to throw him off the balcony, so that the people of Theed would believe that he committed suicide.
