Whoork was a male admiral of the Republic Navy during the New Sith Wars. He had command of the Seventy-Second Republic Battle Group in 1,387 BBY from his flagship, the Refulgent, and was responsible for a number of victories against the forces of Zirist Lakalt, including the Battle of Malastare. When Darshkére overthrew Lakalt, Whoork continued to pursue the campaign, hoping to force a climactic engagement at either Sullust or Eriadu. Darshkére obliged with a battle at Eriadu, but unbeknownst to Republic Intelligence, he had allied with Vedya Gasald, who brought her fleet to reinforce Darshkére's. Trapped between the two fleets and prevented from escaping by Gasald's interdictor cruisers, Whoork was defeated and killed, and the Seventy-Second was destroyed or captured in its entirety.
