The Vytal Imperial Navy was the naval arm of the Vytal Armed Forces. Created in 12 ABY, the navy initially consisted of warships, vessels and fighters made up from various fleets of Imperial remnants leading up to its founding, and what remained of the Imperial Navy.
After its founding, the Vytal Imperial Navy maintained its footing as a formidable force to be reckoned with, but was not treated as such by its leaders to avoid interfering with the mentality established by Empress Annabelle Nakamura. It kept a watchful eye within Vytal Imperial space and treated the ships of the New Republic Defense Fleet as non-hostile, unless provoked. The navy was headed by Naval Command, a body of senior military officers, and the Allegiant Warlords Crystina Mith and James Korr.
