The Vrathites were a vassal race in subjection to the Charon Dominion, following their defeat and induction after the Oblivion Crusades. Trackers and hunters with overt predatory instincts, the Vrathites were the largest military force after the Charon in the Otherspace galaxy. Much like the original Charon of the First Dominion, the Vrathites specialized in biotechnology, and wore armor grown from massive cretaceous shells and plant matter, which bonded to the wearer to increase physical performance and recuperative abilities.
Once the Vrathites became Charon, their species made up the single largest bulk of the Charon Dominion's military forces, had the highest rate of Voidborn, after Humans, and had come close to being the victors of the Ascent conflict. Hence, Vrathites were known to have been the most common sight on the battlefield for the Charon Dominion's armies, after the Extant War had begun.
