The Sith Order of Darth Vorath, more commonly known as Vorath's Sith, was an organization of Sith formed by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vorath. A clandestine order that operated under the notice of the more major Sith factions, it made its emergence in 4 ABY following the deaths of Darth Sidious and Darth Vader and made its move against the New Republic, taking control of the fragmented Galactic Empire. The Sith Order ultimately faced its defeat two decades later with the demise of Darth Vorath and was further driven to ruin by the Republic and Jedi as well as its own infighting.
History[]
Foundation[]
A former Sith Marauder of the Sith Empire of Darth Revan, Kalon Soral set out to build his own empire from the ashes of Revan's following the fall of the Sith Triumvirate. Taking on the name Darth Vorath, he was able to accumulate a sizable force only for the far greater Sith Empire of the mysterious Sith Emperor to throw a spanner into his plans. Losing his army to the Emperor, Vorath fled into Wild Space and settled on the remote world of Sed'tral, where he hid from the watchful eyes of the Sith Empire.
Employing the use of a oubliette that had once belonged to an ancient Sith Lord, guarded by a long-lived Talortai, Darth Vorath entered a stasis-empowered slumber that masked his presence from unwanted attention, preserving his life and allowing him to bide his time, waiting for the right time to strike. Once every other century he would emerge from stasis to go undercover and monitor the present state of the galaxy, gathering information to better prepare himself for the future. He also recruited dark side adepts to perform deeds for him as well as to monitor the Banite Sith when it became too dangerous for his presence to be sensed by them.
Circa 132 BBY, during the reign of Darth Tenebrous, a former Jedi Master by the name of Tolrus Rawn visited Sed'tral in search of the Potentium only to discover the temple in which Vorath was residing. Emerging from stasis, Darth Vorath immediately saw potential in recruiting a former Jedi, especially one as powerful and revered as Tolrus Rawn, and convinced the Twi'lek to join him. Bestowing upon him the name of Darth Scythe, Vorath at last had his first apprentice and thus did the Order of Vorath begin.
Preparations[]
Building Empires[]
Defeat[]
The death of Darth Vorath left the Sith Order in disarray. Those Imperials still loyal to them were either quickly picked off by the Republic or ended up surrendering. As head of the Sith Council, Darth Scythe was next in line of command and the interim Dark Lord immediately ordered a retreat. Evacuating Dromund Kaas, Lord Scythe directed the remaining Lords and acolytes to other Sith Worlds and planets in the Outer Rim. While most Sith followed this command, some of the more ambitious Lords, such as Lords Jerec and Kurse, instead set out to build their own empires from the ashes of Vorath's order. As quickly as Vorath himself had been vanquished, the Sith were soon embroiled in infighting, further tearing the Order apart.
Taking advantage of the chaos, the newly-formed Galactic Alliance and Imperial Remnant united to track down and topple these remnant Sith factions, with the Jedi leading the charge. In 30 ABY, the strongest Sith faction — belonging to Jerec — was defeated in what was later known as the Endymion Triumph. Jedi Master Kyle Katarn confronted Jerec and slayed the Miraluka Sith while Kalen Rusher led Alliance and Imperial soldiers alike to take down Jerec's army. With both Jerec and Kurse's domains conquered, the remaining Sith were pushed further into the Sith Worlds until they were cornered on their ancestral world of Korriban.
With Alliance forces bearing down on them, Darth Scythe made a last-ditch effort and attempted to use a device he had discovered in the bowels of a Sith tomb. Rather than destroy the enemy, it instead turned out to be a device planted by the Glorian Empire which transported Korriban out of its system and into the Unknown Regions, where its resources were used to reconstruct the Star Forge. While the remaining Sith on Korriban were slaughtered, Scythe himself was taken captive and used as a pawn to guard the Star Forge's core, which the Glorians planned to power with the spirit of Valtheran.
At the end of the Glorian War, Darth Scythe perished when the Star Forge was destroyed by the Galactic Alliance. With his death, the Sith Order of Vorath came to an end. However, its legacy was almost immediately continued by the Sith Order of Darth Sedriss, who was a former acolyte of Vorath's Sith; as well as the Followers of Taral, which was led by Vorath's son Varon Krul.

A human male from Coruscant, Kalon Soral was once a Jedi Knight before becoming a Sith Marauder under Darth Revan and later a self-declared Sith Lord by the name of Darth Vorath. Under the guidance of Darth Trayus, Vorath built his Order over the course of three thousand years before finally making a move to conquer the galaxy. He was ultimately defeated by Luke Skywalker and Toah Jarsan, although his son Varon would later attempt to resurrect him two decades later. Such efforts were thwarted and any chance of Vorath's revival were eliminated.
