Viscus Opress was a Dathomirian Zabrak from Dathomir. He was a clone of fellow Zabrak Savage Opress. Viscus trained as an apprentice of Sith Master Dooku, but on his first assignment, Opress was wounded in a duel with Jedi Master Pong Krell. He lost his left arm to Krell's double-bladed lightsabers. After getting a cybernetic replacement for his left arm, Viscus told Dooku that he failed. Dooku punished him, causing Viscus to hate him. After a brief duel, Viscus fled into the galaxy, finding his own path.
Opress tore his way through the galaxy, going on rampages on settlements alike, and wreaking havoc on various corners of the galaxy. Ultimately, Darth Sidious viewed Viscus' power as a threat to his schemes, and travelled to Coruscant, where he and Opress had a confrontation in some Coruscant docks.

Opress is killed by Darth Sidious.
Viscus Opress fought valiantly during his duel with Sidious, but he proved no match for the Dark Lord. Sidious proceeded to fatally impale Opress through his chest with both of his lightsabers in a ferocious reverse lunge. The Dark Lord shoved the towering Zabrak onto the lower pavement below with the Force.
Opress, in his dying breath, told Sidious that there would be another Sith more powerful than him, who would take Opress' place in galactic conquest. As Viscus died, Sidious, cackling, stated that there would be a new regime, with the Sith ruling the galaxy, and led by Sidious. Opress died not understanding that Sidious had new plans in mind.

Opress was remembered by some galactic scholars and historians, and was considered someone to be remembered in Galactic history.
