Vin Borgas was a Human male who served as an admiral in the Imperial Navy of the Imperial Remnant and later the First Order.
Biography[]
Born on Anaxes in 17 BBY, Borgas was only able to get into the Imperial Academy at the age of eighteen due to being the nephew of Obran Borgas, a high-ranking Imperial officer who once served under Darth Vader personally. By the time of the Battle of Endor, Borgas was serving as an officer stationed at the Prefsbelt Academy. He went on to serve in the Pentastar Alignment until it was absorbed into the Crimson Empire.[1]
After the Imperial Sith War, Borgas was among those who defected from Vorath's Sith and joined Admiral Pellaeon's Imperial Remnant. By 40 ABY, he had achieved the rank of admiral and was placed in command of the Prefsbelt Sector Fleet. In that year, he commandeered the Star Destroyer Vanguard to destroy the Sith dreadnaught Harbinger on the orders of Varon Krul.[2]
After Krul had revealed himself and his machinations to the galaxy at large, Borgas had joined the First Order that had arisen from it and brought the Sith Rion Scorpius to Jakku aboard the Vanguard. He later commanded the assault on Abeloth's planet on the orders of Supreme Leader Snoke, preventing the dark side entity from rising to power.[3]
