Veight Station was a space station in the Jjannex sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It served as a deep space fuel depot but also a trading post and storage facility. Over time smugglers and other scum began to use it as a shadowport.
History[]
Construction began on Veight Station in 331 BBY, with financing from the Galactic Republic and the Banking Clan. The Jjannex family oversaw the construction to its completion in 327 BBY. They continued to control the station until the Clone Wars when it became the property of the 21 BBY after Jaxe Minzo and members of the ECDL captured it on behalf of the Separatists. A few months later in 20 BBY the Republic attacked the station in an attempt to capture it but the Confederate defenders destroyed it to prevent it from falling into enemy hands.
