Grek Squad was a Royal Army squad assigned to the Firebird cruiser Valkyrie beginning in 154 ABY, when Breek Zagrev took the ship as her flagship in her role as a Royal Executor. By 155 ABY, it was led by Sergeant Hiligo Wast.
Grek Squad fought in the battles of Chimet and Renthiv; Breek's apprentice, Jinyx Windrunner, fought alongside Grek Squad on Chimet. Though the squad's roster changed over time, the members who fought at Chimet and Renthiv developed a lifelong connection with one another, and all felt a certain fondness for Jinyx, continuing to follow her career as they went their separate ways.
