The Utapau Space Fighter Corps was part of the Utapau Security Forces dedicated to protecting the citizens of Utapau. The Space Fighter Corps was founded by Veruna Arcadia during his unpopular reign as King of Utapau in an attempt to fend off potential Trade Federation attacks due to their failed plasma trading deal. After Arcadia was assassinated, his daughter, Sabé Arcadia, took the throne and decided to keep the Utapau Space Fighter Corps, which proved to be an unpopular act amongst the citizens.[1]
