You've ever faced a Warrior of Ur? Imagine a fully realized Jedi Knight in the prime of their career. Now remove all notions of sympathy, or kindness, or service to the greater good. Pray you never cross paths with someone like that.
—Ardas Ben-Tyrosh to Ta'a Gohed Djo Solo
An Ur-Warrior referred to a member of the Adeptis Uralis, a society of genetically-enhanced, highly trained Force-sensitives dedicated to serving and protecting the ruler of Gargan's Empire. They made up an infinitesimal portion of Tyrrhan society and their members only ever included the most lethal, dedicated, and powerful Force adepts in Gargan Space.
Ur-Warriors successfully completed the rigorous Trial of the Dreamers, emerging with various physiological changes which robbed them of their sense of pain but also touch and - supposedly - empathy. Ur-Warriors were one of the rare social classes in Gargan's Empire in which no gender-based discrimination took place, no member could own property, and romance was outlawed. They were fully trained in the ways of the Force, embracing both aspects of the dark and light side of the Force. In Gargan's Empire, Ur-Warriors developed a fearsome reputation for their brutality, ruthlessness, apathy, and willingness to follow every order from the Gargan to the letter.
