The United Nations Space Command is the naval force of the United Nations of Earth. It is one of the best navies in the galaxy, with its successful Defiant corvette, Infinity battleship, and the carrier classes Mercury and Jupiter.
History[]
The UNSC was founded to defend the United Nations of Earth. Starting with its small, yet powerful Defiant-class corvette, and its compliment of 5 FS-6 Zero starfighters. The Space Command later started upgrading its fleet, with the successful FS-2 Viper II, FS-16 Falcon II, and FS-5 Tiger III fighters, and the venerable Jupiter carrier. In the light of the rise of the Empire, the UNSC called for 2 stronger ships, the Mercury-class carrier, and the UNE's first battleship, the Infinity-class.

The UNSC has had very little conflict due to being considered a defense force, but it has had a large skirmish with the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
