Trie'gyui, codenamed Tripletails, was a Balinak corporate spy with a large bounty placed on his head by Desilijic for stealing blueprints from them. They hired the bounty hunters of Erebos, Inc. to track him down. They tracked him to Keremov, where they fell into a trap he had set and were forced to fight a kirithin. Escaping relatively unharmed, at the Frigid Freelancer seafood café they met a ZeHehtbra spy who Trie’gyui owed money. He offered to join the group in their hunt and informed them that Trie’gyui intended to sell the blueprints to a Besadii contact.

The hunters then went to the Polar Land Shark Racetrack, run by Besadii. They discovered that Trie’gyui had huge gambling debts. They joined the race to get the mystery prize, which ended up being a free trip to Hologram Fun World. They noticed a Besadii Hutt leaving the racetrack talking to a Yarin lieutenant, saying, “My servant shall meet Tripletails on Drall.” The Yarin noticed them and snuck up on them, but they defeated him.

The hunters went to the headquarters of Ororo Transportation Tours and learned about ships going to Drall. They took a hovertrain to the spaceport, but their target hired a group of mercenaries to attack them during the trip, leading to a fight to the death. A harmless-looking Chev shaman also tried to convince them to abandon the hunt using mind-control abilities, but they resisted. They discovered he Chev had bought clothes from Borta Morta, which they discovered by contacting Deriac was a front for Besadii. Obviously, the Chev was working for Trie'gyui.

When the hunters arrived at the spaceport, they realized their docking berth had been broken into. They discovered their shuttle and droids had been sabotaged by Trie'gyui with a remote-control virus; they made the discovery when the droids attacked them and the ship began flying on a collision course with a star! They managed to defeat the virus in the nick of time.

Unable to get the Erebos into the Corellian system unnoticed, the bounty hunters had to use their personal vessels to enter the system, sneaking past CorSec’s PB-950 patrol boats. They passed through customs on Drall, assuming fake IDs and disguises. In the spaceport, they discovered numerous leads:

  • A Troig tailor had made a custom usher’s suit to fit a Balinak customer.
  • A Sluissi info broker had seen a Balinak arrive on Drall in an Ororo luxury liner with an Ororo official who frequently acted as liaison with a t’landa Til on Drall.
  • A Morseerian bartender was asked by a Balinak how to get to the Yellow Squareboard dance hall.
  • At the Yellow Squareboard, a Kitonak tap dancer Squareboard saw a Balinak, disguised as an usher, watching her show in a booth with a t’landa Til.

Due to asking questions about Trie'gyui, the Yellow Squareboard’s Vodran “ushers” took the bounty hunters out into the alley and forced them into a fight. During the fight, Trie’gyui ran out of the dance hall with Phoboilga, a t’landa Til. They rushed to the spaceport and boarded a yacht, the Ill Bird. The bounty hunters gave chase to the yacht, fighting their way through Besadii’s Klatoonian-piloted Zebra starfighters. During the fight, Deriac, seeking to undermine one of his rivals within the Besadii kajidic, arrived in system and joined the team, demanding part of the bounty.

The hunters put an S-thread on the yacht and followed their prey to Vortex, where they pursued Trie’gyui and Phoboilga across the plains, Trie’gyui riding a Flare-S swoop and Phoboilga riding in an A-1 Deluxe Floater. The twosome fled to a secret underground fortress in the plains. The pursuers had to drive through stampeding herds of banthas and nerfs being chased by nashtahs; navigate through horrific winds, avoiding getting bitten by panicked goa lawah birds, and fight past swoop jockeys on Flare-S swoops. When they arrived at the fortress, they had to overcome its automated blaster cannons, Hutt Guards, and lightsaber-wielding Epicanthix assassins of the School of Yeriste. They finally captured Trie’gyui and dragged him out of the fortress, but he exploded, revealing himself to be a replica droid made on Trandosha.

Injured but alive, the hunters wen to Trandosha and found a Besadii labor camp using enslaved Wookiee children. Disguised, they infiltrated the camp and found themselves pursuing Phoboilga and Trie’gyui into a labyrinth filled with insidious traps, including trap doors, collapsing objects, crushing walls, thugs with E-webs, sinking sand, ammonia, and flying parasites that burrowed into skin. They eventually fought Phoboilga into submission, and he agreed to help them capture Trie’gyui, byt Trie’gyui fled through a secret tunnel full of boneworms. They pursued him, captured him at last, and decoded the blueprints. They destroyed the copy on Phoboilga’s datapad and delivered the blueprints and Trie’gyui to Desilijic. They were reward with a contract to deliver cargo at double profits. The group then went on their vacation to Hologram Fun World.
