Toah Jarsan II, also known as the Revanchist, was a clone of Jedi Knight Toah Jarsan, created by his template's father Aron Jarsan.
Biography[]
Following the death of Darth Vorath in 26 ABY, the sentient armor Atha Prime abandoned its host and set out to salvage the Sith Lord's scheme. After taking on the scientist Aron Jarsan as its new host, Atha Prime hastily set up a cloning facility on Dromund Kaas and used Toah Jarsan's DNA to create clones of the Jedi who had defeated Vorath. It was Atha Prime's plan to use either Toah or his clone as a host for Darth Vorath's consciousness, which Atha Prime had backed up on a Rakata Mindspear.
A year later, Toah Jarsan and the crew of Raj Braven arrived on Dromund Kaas and came across Atha Prime's facility. After killing Braven and his crew, Atha Prime lied to his son that he was in fact a clone made from the DNA of Darth Revan in order to demoralize the Jedi. To "prove" his claim, Atha awakened the only successful clone of Toah and pitted him against his template. However, upon realizing that he was being used as a tool, the clone Toah turned against Atha Prime and attacked him with Force lightning, killing the man encased within the armor.
After peacefully parting ways with his template, the clone Toah set out to find a purpose in the galaxy. Traveling to Belderone, he met an old Firrerreo named Hethrir, who told him of the entity Waru and its plan to rebuild the Star Forge. Realizing that the balance of the Force was in danger, the clone Toah established an Order of Dark Jedi to coexist with the New Jedi Order and maintain the balance. Taking on the moniker of "Revanchist" after Revan's original title, he tasked four of these Dark Jedi -- whom he named "Revanchists" as well -- with protecting the Star Maps which led to the Star Forge's location in order to protect them from falling into the wrong hands.
In 35 ABY, the Glorian Empire made its move to invade the galaxy and rebuild the Star Forge for its designs. The Revanchist sent a vision to Anakin Solo to warn the Jedi not to travel to any of the five Star Map worlds but the message only served to pique the Jedi Order's interest. After rescuing Anakin and his party from Glorians, the Revanchist ordered the Jedi to stay out of the conflict for fear of them playing into the Glorians' schemes. However, his warning came too late as the planets Korriban and Kashyyyk were taken over by the Glorians, while the Revanchist based on Manaan was executed. Realizing he had little other choice, the Revanchist formed an alliance with the Jedi Order and the two organizations worked together to locate the Star Forge and destroy it.
Two years into the Glorian War, Jedi Grand Master Xanus Baran visited Dromund Kaas to meet with the Revanchist and learn his backstory. After the Revanchist had revealed his connection to Toah and the purpose of his Order, the two Jedi leaders were abducted by Glorian agents and brought to Crseih Station, where Waru himself was located. When the Glorians revealed their plan to use the Staff of Valtheran to reawaken its namesake, the Revanchist broke free and attempted to stop them only to be stopped by Waru when the entity swapped consciousnesses with him, trapping the Revanchist within its body. After Waru and the Glorians were vanquished, the Jedi returned to Crseih Station and destroyed Waru's original body, allowing the Revanchist to be come one with the Force.
