Star Wars Fanon

The Titans were a small and highly secretive group of Force-sensitives first active in the galaxy over twenty-thousand years before the fall of the Galactic Republic. Originally a group of like-minded Je'daii on either side of the decade long civil war on Tython, the Titans emerged out of the Force Wars as individuals who became disillusioned with the polarization of the Light Side of the Force and the Dark Side of the Force, believing it weakened both sides from their potential and their ability to interpret the will of the Force.

Coming to consider themselves as "purists", the Titans adhered to the then-outdated aspect of the Primal Force and somehow discovered a method that enabled them to have fled from Tython and the ongoing conflict, ultimately settling on the Deep Core world of Ottabesk. Between that time and the Force Wars' end and the eventual spread of the Jedi Order, the Titans spread across much of the Inner Rim before disappearing from the galactic scene. Although the number of Titans that broke away from the Je'daii was unknown, it was known that there were eight families in total and all changed their family names after the eight Je'daii Temples, excluding the Padawan Kesh.

By the era of the Galactic Empire of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, the Titans were considered to have been were mythical warriors from "a lost time." Jedi and Sith were sometimes compared to Titans throughout galactic history.

During the Extant War, it was discovered that the Titans survived throughout the majority of galactic history, although kept strictly to themselves and away from galactic affairs. At the time of the Charon invasion, only two Titans remained in the galaxy; Orion Kaleth and his grandson, Jeshua Kaleth.

Behind the scenes[]

The Titans of the Extant Saga were adapted and expanded from the canonical Titans of the Star Wars Legends continuity.
