Rebellion era

Tia Tian was a Sullustan female from Coruscant who became an Imperial TIE fighter pilot. Despite being an extremely talented flier, she was continually denied for any kind of promotion or award and was sent to the backwater post of Kraa Butha.

Biography[]

Tia Tian was the daughter of a Separatist soldier who left her and her mother on Coruscant while he fought the Republic on distant worlds. Her father was killed in a battle for his homeworld. After the Clone Wars, Tian and her mother lived in the Coruscant Underworld in order to avoid Imperial attention. In 5 BBY, Tian managed to gain entrance to a minor Imperial piloting program on Haldeen. Despite high marks in everything, she barely graduated because she was an alien. She was eventually sent to Kraa Butha, where she was shot down and died during a Rebel raid in 0 BBY. It was later shown that her TIE fighter was sabotaged by a humanocentric mechanic but no disciplinary action was ever taken.
