He was the best teacher for the best class at the best naval academy in all the Republic. He was a veteran that knew navy procedure, history and tactics like he'd been born into it. We were students that got such high marks, we were able to join the academy years earlier than the general public. People said that if the separatist crisis came to war, it'd be people like us leading the defense of the Republic. Too bad they were right.

Thrar Sargon was a Human man born on Anaxes in 106 BBY. For virtually all of his adult life, he served in the Judicial Forces and, just prior to his death, the newly-restored Republic Navy. Having survived the conflicts in the leadup to the Clone Wars, he was effectively retired for a number of years, serving the Republic as a high-level instructor at the Republic Navy War College on his homeworld.
The Rising Stars[]
The final class taught by admiral Sargon before his return to active service was, in his own opinion, "the greatest class of officer cadets I ever had the honor to teach". They were among the youngest serving officers in the entire Republic during the Clone Wars, and all of them earned acclaim and honors through the war and even following its conclusion, as the entire group remained loyal when the Galactic Empire was formed. The class had no official name, but came to be known as "the Republic's rising stars", along with similarly brilliant young newcomers across the Republic's services, from the army to the administration to the sciences. Arius Valdayn and Destin Nex, two members of the class, joined thirteen of the non-naval "rising stars" to become the Circle of Fifteen. Among other members of the class were Tal Rackis, Promethea Saranis, Victoria Var-Zardon, Keltus Rend, Alderia Banjek, Lucian aon Hetur, Mirana Felya, Joren Walton, Hyperion Qor'Dar, Kal Trykan and others.
