The Spire was an upper-class restaurant located in the Senate District of Coruscant. The top saucer-shape was where the actual restaurant was located. A turbolift tube extended down the center of the tower to ground level.

In 38 BBY, the crazed criminal Haas Buck attacked the patrons of the restaurant, randomly firing blaster bolts. MI5 operative Jace Bont was present at The Spire to put an end to Bucks madness. Buck ended up falling out a window 180 meters to his death.
