The story so far....
Star Wars: The Final Destiny takes place 37 years after the events of Return of the Jedi and serves as the conclusion to the three-part Destiny Trilogy.
In the first series of the saga, Destiny, Luke Skywalker rebuilds the Jedi Order in the wake of the Battle of Endor while the New Republic deals with the remnants of the Galactic Empire. One of the first of Luke’s new students is a boy named Toah Jarsan, who goes on to become Luke’s Padawan learner. Around this time, an ancient Sith Lord named Darth Vorath emerges from hibernation and sets his plan for galactic conquest into motion. He creates a clone of the late Emperor Palpatine to take over the remnants of the Empire so that he can weed out those loyal to Palpatine and eliminate them, thus mitigating the risk of pro-Palpatine loyalists rebelling against him. He then brings the remaining Imperials under his rule and creates a Sith Empire to attack the New Republic, while secretly controlling the Republic as well through his spy Atha Prime, who had been recently elected Chancellor. Eventually, the New Jedi Order and New Republic are able to bring an end to Darth Vorath and his Sith, with Luke Skywalker sacrificing himself to help Toah vanquish the Dark Lord. The Empire is reformed into the Imperial Remnant and makes peace with the New Republic, now reformed into the Galactic Alliance.
In the second installment, Invasion, the galaxy is invaded by the mysterious Glorian Empire — a race of shape-shifting aliens that had been infiltrating several aspects of civilization, including the Alliance and the Imperial Remnant. After receiving a vision from whom he assumes to be Toah, who had not been seen since the events of destiny, Han and Leia’s son Anakin Solo sets off with a team of Jedi and Republic soldiers to four worlds believed to be correlated with the Glorians’ invasion: Dantooine, Tatooine, Kashyyyk, and Manaan. They soon discover that the Glorians are using resources from these worlds to rebuild a superweapon from the ancient past known as the Star Forge, with the intention of draining the galaxy of life and using it to revitalize their home dimension. Meanwhile, the individual believed to have been Toah reveals himself to be the Revanchist, a clone of Toah created by Atha Prime as well as leader of a Dark Jedi Order dedicated to preserving the balance of the Force. One of the Revanchist’s Dark Jedi, Lysira Naris, breaks off from the Order and sets off to rebuild the Sith after the Glorian agent Shadow defeats the incumbent Dark Lady Lumiya. The real Toah Jarsan is eventually found by Jedi Knight Jaden Korr, having gone into isolation after discovering evidence that he was in fact created by his parents with the intention of recreating the ancient Sith Lord Darth Revan. However, Jaden convinces him to come out of exile and Toah helps Anakin Solo destroy the Star Forge and bring an end to the Glorian Empire.
In the third and final installment, Endgame, an apprentice named Varon Krul breaks off from Lysira Naris’ new Sith Order and begins an insurgency to undermine the Alliance and supplant it with a new Empire. Among his co-conspirators include members of the Imperial Remnant, Mandalorians, the crime syndicate Black Sun, and even senators of the Alliance itself. While detective Wallen Nix leads the investigations into Imperials’ involvement with the conspiracy, Jaden Korr chases Varon Krul across the galaxy in order to determine the Sith’s plans. During this time, he is haunted by an entity known as Abeloth — who calls herself “Mother” — and a community of clones who insist that Jaden is a clone himself, possibly of the deceased Darth Vorath. Meanwhile, the rogue Mandalorian bounty hunter Kadar tracks down members of Black Sun and kills them for their part in killing his wife and son. Along the way, he encounters his estranged daughter Vessin before being captured by the Mandalorians, who blackmail him into assassinating their leader Boba Fett so that the corrupt Atinar Cabur can claim the mantle of Mand’alor. With all of the pieces in place, Varon Krul reveals himself to the galaxy — naming himself Darth Taral — and sets into motion events that will determine the fate of the galaxy….
