Temzin: “ Give me a repeating cannon, I said. Heavy firepower for tight spots, I said. But you said—
Hiligo Wast: “Stow it, Temzin.
―Temzin complains while fighting off enemies at the Battle of Chimet

Temzin (/ˈtɛmˌzɨn/) was a male lance corporal in the Royal Army of the Golden Empire who was assigned to Grek Squad aboard the Valkyrie. He had a reputation among his squadmates as a good friend but a sarcastic smartmouth, and often provided wry, running commentary on the squad's activities in the field. Sergeant Hiligo Wast was generally tolerant of Temzin's sense of humor, though occasionally he had to remind the man to focus.

Temzin and Grek Squad participated in the Battle of Chimet, in which Temzin was favorably impressed by Kyriel Windrunner, who had been assigned to the squad by Breek Zagrev to gain field experience. When the squad made its assault on a water treatment plant, Temzin was seriously injured by a blaster shot which penetrated his armor and struck his abdomen. He was medevaced to the Valkyrie and required bacta immersion, but eventually made a full recovery. Temzin received the Sacrifice Medal for his injuries.

Some time after the Battles of Chimet and Renthiv, Temzin was transferred off the Valkyrie to a different Infantry company, though he kept in contact with his friends from Grek Squad. He served as a heavy weapons operator, finally receiving a repeating cannon, which he named (and on which he stenciled) The Windrunner.

After completing his initial service obligation, Temzin left the Army and became a security officer on a merchant vessel.
