The Temple of Ubdur was an ancient Jedi enclave on the rainy Inner Rim planet Ubduria.
Description[]
The Temple of Ubdur was very similar in design to the Temple of Eedit on Devaron. Upon being abandoned, it was set up with Zeffo Tomb Guardians, who laid dormant in the temple awaiting unfortunate treasure hunters. A tomb was also located in the underlevels of the temple, which contained the body of the Duros Jedi Master Ubduros, Ubduria's namesake.
History[]
The temple was constructed several millennia before the Clone Wars by the native Ubdurians as a gift to Jedi Master Ubduros, the namesake of their world, who went there as a diplomat to recruit the Ubdurians into the Galactic Senate.
At the devastation of Ubduria during the Mandalorian crusades, the Jedi there were ousted and the temple was left abandoned. As the Mandalorian crusaders were unable to overcome the Tomb Guardians there, the contents of the temple remained untouched for millennia.
Shortly before the Clone Wars, the Mandalorian treasure hunter Naastau discovered the temple's whereabouts through a Jedi star-map. Only one of the many Tomb Guardians in the temple by this time were still functional, which Naastau managed to defeat before escaping the temple with Ubduros' holocron and imbued sword.
