Tebrejj was a planet in the Golden Empire. It was the only planet besides Harth Gool where pseudo-kavam could be grown, and as a result was both vital to the Empire and very wealthy. The Nunes were native to Tebrejj.

Geography[]

Much of Tebrejj's surface was marked by craggy, uneven steppe. Its rocks tended to be more vibrant colors than the white and off-white stones found on other worlds, and were regularly blue, red, and vivid brown. Its forests and jungles featured an array of brightly colored plants with dense foliage. The surface was home to a rich diversity of fauna, including solitary and pack predators as well as herbivores and the sentient Nunes.

Tebrejj had five oceans, as well as a variety of smaller bodies of water.

The soil of Tebrejj had a concentration of nutrients and chemical conducive to growing pseudo-kavam, making it nearly unique among known planets.

Society and culture[]

The export of pseudo-kavam was Tebrejj's most lucrative industry, and the planet was disproportionately wealthy as a result. It was also heavily defended, both by multiple redundant planetary shield generators and quick-response plans from the Royal Navy.

Because the Nunes themselves were poisonous, some criminal cartels harvested Nuno blood to be used for assassinations, including by means of the Nuno cocktail. The poisonous blood of the Nunes also gave rise to a planetary phobia about shed blood, and even the most minor scrapes were also bandaged among both natives and aliens.

History[]

The Golden Empire located and recruited Tebrejj some time after its discovery of Harth Gool in 115 ABY. The Nunes were already partially integrated into the Empire when Royal geologists discovered that the soil of their homeworld was suited to the production of pseudo-kavam. A massive influx of Royal Credits for infrastructure followed, and most food crops were cleared away to make room for more pseudo-kavam fields and processing plants. Tebrejj became dependent on offworld foodstuffs, but its new massive wealth was more than sufficient to pay.
