Tar Bone was a male Duros who, as many others of his species, chose to join a pirate gang due to poor consideration by the Triumvirate Navy officers, like admiral Druson. He died while boarding the Naboo Grassland as leader of a group of Sakrask pirates by the hands of Koro Shimti.
