Honor among thieves? Don't make me laugh. A myth some amateurs cooked up after they got conned by better thieves.
—Tar'hen'niarii
Tar'hen'niarii, better known by his core name Rhen, was a male Chiss who served Darth Titania as her personal assassin and operative. Born on the planet Copero, Rhen was once a promising Chiss commando on the rise in the Ascendancy's Expansionary Defense Force. After a time, he deserted from military service, leaving Chiss space by stowing aboard a merchant freighter bound for the Sith Worlds.
Once there, Rhen had to scrape in order to survive in a xenophobic Sith Empire. After a time, he left Sith space behind for Hutt Space and the Outer Rim Territories, using his skills and commando training to find work as a mercenary, smuggler, and thief. He gained some notoriety by plundering the pleasure-palace vaults of Jela Vosadii Thaebae, a prominent Hutt crime lord in the Y'Toub system: his troubles earned him a death mark.
Fleeing for his life, Rhen was hounded by bounty hunters. Desperate, Rhen took a job from an up-and-coming Sith Lord, Lord Sigan. He was to infiltrate the home of then-fledgling Sith Lord Qo'un Sinan and pilfer her data archives. Caught in the attempt by Sinan herself, Rhen was given a proposition: she'd sweeten the deal Sigan had offered him, hiring him as an agent in her service, or turn him over empty-handed to Sigan, placing him at the Sith Lord's mercy. Rhen readily accepted her terms.
With the founding of the Titaniate, Rhen enjoyed virtually unlimited operative freedom, rivaled only by the upper echelons of the Ministry of Intelligence.

Tried the assassin thing, back a while. I knew it wasn't really what I wanted. But what's a life to the squeeze of a trigger, really? It was easy enough. And the paychecks were good - good enough that I spent my nights sleeping like a baby.

Titania was the first Sith to treat me not as an alien, but as an equal. Once in her service, she treated me damn well. Any other Sith? I'd be disposable. Not Titania. She values the men and women under her command. And... plus, the credits were good. Damn good.
