Carey was a human male Jedi who served within Luke Skywalker's Jedi. Around some where between 30 ABY and 33 ABY, Carey was killed when Ben Solo later known as Kylo Ren killed all but Skywalker, Carey was in fact killed.

Carey's name is confirmed to be named after "Joe Carey", a character who got killed in Star Trek: Voyager. Carey was a goodish character, that JS-4422 decided to name this character after him.
