A Tagruatian
Tagruatians were a race of cephalopodic humanoids from the planet Tagruato. They were distinguished by their multiple tentacles, red skin, and unpronounceable names. One famous Tagruatian was William Octoward, who was a famous participant of the Y-Zero Championship. Although Tagruatians were considered harmless eccentrics by the rest of the galaxy due to their odd fashions and fads, they were ruled by an oppressive government for a while before it was overthrown during the time of the Empire. By the time of the New Empire, Tagruatians had become a fairly influential race due to new trade and economical programs.
