The Tactical Imperial Enforcer series[1], better known as Reengineered TIE series[2], was the direct predecessor to the Old Empire's TIE series[1]. Only difference of these starfighters between their predecessors was that they had better armour, engineering and a lot more heavier and advanced weapons and superior shielding[1].
Many of these modernized TIE fighters were used in large numbers, much like their older siblings[1]. However due to Tachibana Heavy Engineering's limited resources, they weren't able to recover classified and top secret files about other TIE fighters and just rebuilt the ones they were able to get their hands on[1]. In the later years, T.H.E. developed two new variants of the TIE/LN introduced, the TIE Shadow and its Special Forces variant[1]. However, only the Special Forces variant was ever mass-produced due to the Shadow's expensive cost and high risk losses[2].
Most of these starfighters, excluding the TIE/SF Shadow, were built for use by the Galactic Eclipse Empire and were mainly used by its Navy's Starfighter Corps in large numbers[1].
