The Tactical Imperial Enforcer/SF Shadow starfighter,[2] other names being the SpecForce TIE Shadow,[1][2] TIE Shadow Mark II,[2] and "Special Forces Shadow,"[1] was the less expensive successor to the TIE Shadow and improved its original design by removing the experimental cloaking generator.[1][2] Improved by the Department of Military Research and constructed and manufactured by Tachibana Heavy Engineering.[1][2] Being used mainly by the Eclipse Special Forces and Black Squadron.[1][2]
The SpecForce TIE Shadow was armed with two JT-X heavy laser cannons on its fore with several weapons on its aft side that included two HK-5X point-defense cannons, one TX-4 heavy tri-laser cannon and a missile launcher able to switch between THE-3X proton torpedoes and THE-5X concussion missiles.[1][2] It was also equipped with a modified KX-56 shielding generator for maximum protection as well as having the ability to transfer most of its power to the weapons.[1]
