Tachibana Heavy Engineering[1], sometimes just simply as T.H.E.[1], was a shipbuilding, droids, vehicles engineering, and weapons manufacturing company founded in 4.3 ABY by Angel and was led by Jacques Tachibana and was the primary military contractor of the Galactic Eclipse Empire, providing them with droid units such as the B4 superior battle droid, and warships such as the Acclamator IV-class assault ship and the Executor-class Super Star Dreadnought even weapons like the TX-6 heavy ion cannon and 115-J heavy turbolaser.[1]
History[]
Formation[]
Three months after the Battle of Endor, Jacques Tachibana was approached by Angel to be the corporate CEO of Tachibana Heavy Engineering whereas Jacques gladly accepted as he had been one of the founding fathers for Nakamura Industries as CFO.[1] He then began his career as CEO by receiving permission from Angel on searching for weapons, starships, starfighters, ground assault vehicles and aircraft designs as well as search for the blue prints of the starships, starfighters, weapons, vehicles and aircraft models used by the Old Empire and the Alliance as well as those used by the Old Republic and Confederacy.[1]
Eventually, with the help of Thrawn before his assassination, Jacques was able to reacquire old war machines used in the Clone Wars and the Galactic Civil War as well as gaining access to hundreds of other war machines used by criminal organizations such as the Zann Consortium, Black Sun Pirates, Hutts and Mandalorian clans.[1] Later almost every military, paramilitary, militia and rebel cells were wiped out by the New Empire.[1] Tachibana Heavy Engineering even took Nakamura Industries out of business and acquired the design papers for their Venator-class Heavy Star Destroyer and manufactured the warship for use by the Eclipse Empire in the developing galaxy.[1]
Jacques felt accomplished afterwards when he had Anna Nakamura, Heiress and CEO of Nakamura Industries, assassinated and took all of the wealth that her company left behind, including hundreds of millions of credits and weapons stored in various warehouses on various worlds within the Outer Rim Territories.[1]
Working for the New Empire[]
During Tachibana Heavy Engineering's time as an unofficial branch of the Eclipse Military, T.H.E. worked closely with the Department of Military Research in creating new technologies for the New Empire, resulting in the creation of the Imperial Missile Enforcer and Interceptor Assault Linked super battle droid.[1] Afterwards, Tachibana Heavy Engineering and the Department of Military Research were both requested to come up with a new type of mech armour to better compete with the AT-MP and this mech became the Mantis-class Assault Armour and was presented to Angel by the end of 9 ABY.[1] This mech was then accepted by Angel as the sister to the AT-MP as it was .8 meters higher.[1]
