TITAN Technologies, typically abbreviated to TITAN, was a private corporation founded founded by Qo'un Sinan during the Galactic War. TITAN started as a skunkworks project and think tank founded by Sinan, eventually transitioning into a full fledged manufacturer that specialized in R&D and production of experimental technologies.
TITAN was known for its top-of-the-line cybernetics and droids, but branched out to produce weapons, armor, electronics, and small lines of vehicles and starships. TITAN starships were produced under the Origin Shipwrights subsidiary.
Functioning chiefly as one of the materiel producers for the Brotherhood of Raiskus, TITAN lacked the galaxy-spanning reach and influence of other corporations. Nevertheless, it established a reputation for itself due to superior craftsmanship and the cutting-edge nature of its products. A small number of its products found their way outside of the Brotherhood, mostly to wealthy clients; TITAN products were expensive but highly coveted, as their experimental and highly advanced nature made them sought after.
History[]
TITAN was founded by Sith Lord Titania some time after her ascension to the rank of Darth. Catching the eye of the Brotherhood of Raiskus due to her technological capabilities, TITAN was founded shortly after joining the Brotherhood in order to cater to the demands and needs of her newfound allies. Initially little more than a privately owned factory, TITAN soon expanded as the Brotherhood's power, influence, and territory exploded. When Titania moved her base of operations to Neroth in the Tapalar system, TITAN's facilities grew rapidly within the system. TITAN eventually came to produce the significant bulk of the Brotherhood's automated droid forces, ranging from battle droids to larger machines like droid tanks and droid starfighters.
Reputation and ethics[]
Mirroring the work ethics of its founder, TITAN established a reputation for professionalism and efficiency. The company produced top-of-the-line products with superb craftsmanship in a timely manner, refusing to cut corners or deliver inferior products.
TITAN products were easily recognizable due to a common design aesthetic: elegant curves, straight angles, and color schemes consisting of white, silver, and black.
