The Systems Unification Front, also known informally as the Hydian resistance, was a collective of resistance groups led by former Separatist officers that opposed the Imperial regime. A majority of their strongholds were located along the Hydian Way. Their military forces varied drastically, with some units operating as low-budget guerrilla forces and others as uniformed regiments equipped with a vast array of combat vehicles. The group also maintained several Separatist factories that produced B1 and B2 battle droids; most of the Empire's campaigns against the Front involved the destruction of these factories. During the onset of the Galactic Civil War, the Hydian resistance joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
