Strageus was a peaceful world of rolling grasslands that stretched across most of the planet. A scattering of nomadic settlements littered the planet with one city at the base of the world's single mountain range. However, fifty years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, the planet was seized by the Disciples of Bane during the Bane Crisis after the Battle of Strageus but was later recaptured by the Republic.
