Storm Commandos on a mission.
Storm Commandos, also known as shadow scouts and boys in black, were elite guerrilla fighting units within the Imperial Army, but were not counted as SpecOps units. They were also in the Confederation of Free Planets, and served under the Confederation of Free Planets Special Operations Command. Even though they were special forces, they operated outside the chain of command for SpecOps during their time in the Empire, which was the Galactic Empire Special Operations Command. Storm Commandos also served in the Confederation of Free Planets Storm Commando Group.

Their armor was basically black scout trooper armor, but with a different chest plate. They had utility belts such as many Stormtrooper variants did, but used different equipment. They had extension cables, poison dart shooters, and many other deadly items. Many of them used E-9 Commando Rifles, but some used snipers.
