The Steel Talon company, also known simply as the Steel Talons, was a clone training facility of the Galactic Republic and a part of the Shield operation. This facility was training simple clone commandos—with no specialization—and clone squad leaders.

The Steel Talon company clones were almost always present in any battle combined with other clones from the Demolition and the Shadow company. The battles in which Steel Talon clones participated were:
- Battle of Geonosis.
- Battle of Rhen Yar.
- Battle of Dune
- Battle of Utapau.
- Battle of Kashyyyk.
