Starost Pénzember was the wife of Salis Pénzember, and the mother of Salis, Jr. and Fari Pénzember. She married Salis just after the Octom War.
During the Coruscanti plague Starost was forced to look after her younger son, Fari, by herself when both her husband and her elder son were arrested by the Black Guard. She brought the family into debt and was killed when she was unable to pay Tadhana the Hutt back.
