Starlight Galactic, colloquially referred to as StarGal, was a hyperdrive design and engineering firm active during the Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Civil War in the era of the Old Republic. Operating along the business to business model, Starlight Galactic served as a contractor for larger corporations including Czerka Corporation and Aratech, providing advanced hyperdrives for vessels in service to these organizations.
The firm did well financially during the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars, and funded the creation of the Starlight Galactic Plaza, wherein its corporate offices and the Torque and Grip casino and club were located.
