Stargazer is a cancelled adventure fan-fiction novella written by LordOfTheNeverThere set after the Yuuzhan Vong War. It was intended as a sequel to his earlier novella Nowhere. The story would take place 28 years after the Nowhere Incident and revolved around New Republic privateer Anders as he travelled into the Unknown Regions in search of the planet Sirta, a mythical world said to be 'enshrouded' by the Force.

Synopsis[]

Stargazer
The galaxy bleeds. A mysterious extragalactic race known as the Yuuzhan Vong has invaded the New Republic and caused a catastrophe unheard of before. Even after the onslaught had ended, the Republic recovers from what appears to be the galaxy's most devastating war.

In the middle of it all, New Republic privateer and explorer ANDERS abandons the rebuilding in search of a mystical planet known only as SIRTA, said to be hidden and enshrouded by an anomalous manifestation of the Force.

The grizzled captain assembles a crew of brave and foolhardy spacers in an attempt to discover this strange planet, but they are not the only ones in search of Sirta's mystery...

Development[]

Although a sequel to Nowhere was not planned, the author decided to write a new adventure based around Nowhere's protagonist; Anders. Learning from the mistakes of the previous novella and improving his style of writing, the author became inspired by adventure stories by writers such as Jules Verne or films like Indiana Jones to develop a more lighthearted sequel to Nowhere's arguably gritty plotline.
