Star Wars Faraway is a fan fiction project created and written by Luke Madison. It is the successor to his two previous projects, aiming at combining the best elements of them while including other ideas conceived during the interim. The exact nature of the project's media has not yet been decided.
Similar to previous versions of the story, it follows the adventures of Calen Solayr, a Force-sensitive nerf herder on the rugged world of Aranya during the Galactic Interregnum. A chance encounter with a wayward Jedi Knight on a mission suddenly drags him center-stage into the conflict between the Underground and warlord Raixan Fauth's forces as a member of the Jedi Order's Knights Remnant.
The project's name was first created as part of a story meant to provide a conclusion to the original Expanded Universe. Aspects of this element are planned to be retained (including its chronological setting and certain character concepts).
