What is Star Wars Fanon?
When Star Wars first played on the silver screen, old Ben Kenobi told Luke Skywalker that he was taking his first steps into a larger world of Jedi Knights, people and planets, tales and stories, and a galaxy of dreams. This ever-expanding saga has brought us an age of heroes and villains to match any in literature, one adventure at a time.
Now it's your turn to add to that galaxy far, far away on Star Wars Fanon, the Star Wars fanon and fan fiction wiki, where you—yes, you!—can write and post all of your Star Wars stories. Presented on a wiki that anyone can edit, this site brings out the true imagination of its writers and allows everyone to fulfill their writing dreams.

Fanon
Fanon is the lifeblood of this wiki. These are fan ideas for all sorts of new Star Wars stories that are posted on wiki pages, and ones that generally aren't written as fan fiction novels or short stories. That's what this wiki was founded as: a repository of fan creativity. There are characters and governments, wars and battles, and even science and technology—and let's not forget the planets that make the galaxy far, far away a whole lot bigger, one fan idea at a time.

Fan fiction
Fan fiction, like Golden Age of the Republic: Hidden Truths shown on the left, is Star Wars fiction written by fans for fans. The stories take place in the legendary galaxy far, far away, but none of it is official canon. Fan fiction is done for fun and can sometimes be a community effort. Entire websites and organizations devoted to fan fiction exist, making it a social exercise shared by thousands if not millions of fans of both Star Wars and other franchises and genres.
Featured fiction
Selu wordlessly clutched the controls with a frenzied grip, precariously dodging and jinking to evade the deadly fusillades of green turbolaser bursts even as he clawed for open space far enough from Zhar’s gravity well to jump to lightspeed. The beams were getting closer. Selu keyed the navicomputer, hoping to plot a jump to somewhere, anywhere away from their assailant. Unfortunately, that particular piece of equipment had yet to be tweaked by Sarth, and precious seconds would be needed to complete the complex calculations for jumping to lightspeed. Seconds they didn’t have.
- The Hawk-bat shuddered as another near-miss from a turbolaser detonated near the aft quarter of the sleek freighter. The impact of the blow threw Sarth into a wall across from the overheating shield control circuitry he was trying to bypass. From a muffled groan coming from down the hall, he could tell that the hit had had a similar effect on Cassi. He struggled back to his feet, retrieving the dropped hydrospanner and other tools rolling around on the deck. Cursing at the sight of the now burned-out circuitry and the shower of blue sparks it was emitting, he quickly shut off the entire relay before it literally blew up in his face. Keying the intercom, he shouted a message to Selu.
- "Selu! We can’t take any more hits! The shields are gone!"
