As Rex and Colly arrived at the detention center, their mouths dropped down to the floor in a state of shock. All three prisoners were gone along with Ganch just reawakening from unconsciousness. Colly rushed over to Ganch. “What happened?”

“I- I don’t know. Ponds was acting all weird, saying that Order 66 chant. Good soldiers follow orders, was it? Yeah, then I blacked out.”

Rex comforted Ganch as Ganch got back up quickly. “Soldier, how come no one else made it to this room? Carg, Chewie? Han?” Ganch shook his head in despair. “Alright, we have to split up. See who we can find while evading the Yuuzhan Vong.” Colly and Ganch agreed to go their separate ways.

Commander Ponds followed Aurra Sing to a near exit as he kept murmuring gibberish to himself, as if he had some sort of stroke. Aurra turned to look at him and smirked. Ponds then felt a slight urgency to screech at the top of his lungs due to the continuing pain coming from his head, but Aurra’s facial expression virtually embraced him, locking his eyes to hers and forcing him not to. “Oh Ponds. How I missed this!”

The steps of someone interrupted her moment and made her smile instantly turned to a frown. “And how I missed taking down bounty hunter scum like you,” Colly intimidated. Aurra rolled her eyes as she put her hands up. That distinguishable smirk returned as she spotted Ponds go for his gun. “Ya know, I can go easy on ya. As long as you turn Ponds back to the way he was.”

Aurra let out a chuckle. “Oh, my dear 8887.” Colly went from expressionless to a concerned look on his face. He thought to himself on how Sing could know his designation code. “This is what Ponds wanted all along. To be stuck in this forsaken cesspool of a galaxy with me. Now, come on, hon. Let us get out of here… together.”

“And where do you think you’re going?” Scrape barged in with Shimrra Jamaane. “I told you you were gonna regret crossing me!” Scrape, without hesitation, squeezed the trigger of his blaster and a shot made contact with Ponds’ right hip, compelling him to collapse.

“No!” Aurra let out a slight cry.

Jamaane moved in while Scrape had his aim pinpointed at Colly and Sing. The Yuuzhan Vong leader examined Ponds who was in agony. He grabbed his chin, squishing his mouth a little. He put his hand on Ponds’ temple which was still pulsing abnormally. “It appears that this clone has a malformation within his cerebrum. I suggest we bring him back alive and run tests on this individual.”

“Ponds?” Scrape rhetorically asked. “What good would that do?”

“My technological advances are tripled compared to yours. We could read his mind… see what kind of plans the Republic has. We shall be victorious!”

Scrape looked over at Ponds. He squinted his eyes. “Alright, Jamaane,” He agreed. Some more Yuuzhan Vong officers rushed in to take Ponds. Scrape looked back, knocked Colly out and left Aurra there with her sorrows.
