Star Wars: The Dark Reign is an American science fiction television series set in the Star Wars universe. It is a part of the rebooted continuity that includes the sequel trilogy and Anthology film series. It takes place one year after the conclusion of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and is reported to last through to the beginning of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, with a total of six seasons planned. It will explore the early years of the Galactic Empire as well as the foundations of the Rebel Alliance.
