Story[]
Chapter 1[]
Alectasa waited patiently and quietly for his name to be called by the captain's secretary. He paced up and down the corridor, gripping his hands tightly, shaking slightly. Darth Micail was by far the most powerful member of the Sith Order of Decreto to have ever requested him, and this worried Alectasa greatly; what had he done to warrant this meeting? It had only been seven hours since he had awoken from his coma and been told of his ordeal.
Supposedly, following Darth Cannae's dismal failure two years previously Alectasa had been seriously wounded, and a self-induced coma had been the only thing that saved his life. Now, two years later he had finally awaken and found that much had changed in the Sith Empire. The Sith had expanded greatly in the last two years, and Cal Omas, leader of the enemy had been killed, yet the Jedi continued to fight for a lost cause…apparently.
These thoughts of deception had plagued Alectasa's mind ever since he had been told the story, he knew that treachery was the way of the Sith, and that the story could just as likely be false, as it was true. But before he could further dwell on these thoughts the captain's secretary called him forth. The time had come, to meet a Sith Lord.
Chapter 2[]
Darth Validus had long been an exile amongst her own people. Ever since her father's death she had hated the Galactic Alliance with all her heart, and with the return of the Sith just two years previously, she had been given the chance to exact her revenge.
She had fought valiantly over the past two years, always at the front line, and it had paid of just months ago when she was promoted to the rank of Sith Knight by her former commander; Darth Micail. Now she had been called up by the Sith Council itself and even the great Darth Validus shook slightly at the thought of her immediate future, and whether it was about to be cut short or not. Sitting on the stone bench, outside the Council chamber on Korriban Validus shuddered at the thought, shaking it off, preferring to believe that it was good news, for her at least.
Validus had not been sitting for half a standard hour when she found herself being hurried forth into the greater Council chamber. Before her sat four hooded figures, each one projecting a strong dark side aura. At the head of the table sat the strongest and most powerful of them all — Darth Abeonis himself. It was then that she noticed a fifth, un-hooded figure standing just beside the door.
A tall man, with long brown hair and a strong face sporting the crimson red armour of the Sith Knights. He had pitch black eyes, suggesting artificial implants and a large scar over his right eye; stretching the length of his face.
'Darth Validus,' declared the Dark Lord Abeonis 'I would like to introduce you to your fellow Sith Knight, Darth Alectasa.' Alectasa bowed, and Validus returned the compliment. 'I have brought you both here because the Empire is in need of help.'
'What kind of "defence"? If I may enquire?' asked Alectasa
'Defence, from within unfortunately. It seems my recent failure to eliminate Skywalker has given many of our fellow Sith Lords delusions of grandeur, delusions which seem to be pitting them against myself. So far it has only been a minor inconvenience but now it seems things are heating up.'
Micail, who had been listening intently suddenly interrupted, saying 'Thyferra, a planet only recently conquered by our forces has fallen under the sway of a Sith Lord named Darth Iiniuria, you may have heard of her? But regardless; her claiming of this planet as her own has sent a message to many of her fellow Lords and Knights. And if this utter betrayal is not crushed quickly and brutally, then it could erupt into all out civil war…'
'…civil war without end…' interrupted the third hooded figure; Darth Adsec.
'…yes, and if that is allowed to happen, the Sith Empire might never regain its rightful place at the head of the galaxy. And that is something, we cannot allow.'
Both Alectasa and Validus stood still; neither was shocked at the news of a fellow Sith's betrayal, but the fact that it was a single Sith Lord, on a single planet just seemed suicidal, and then Alectasa suddenly realised something.
'Why are you telling us this? Why not just send Lord Micail, or even Lord Adsec to bombard the planet into submission, kill the traitors!?!'
'Because,' said the final hooded figure 'both of you have proven your worth, and his Lordship want to test you one more time, before your loyalties are "rewarded".'
'"Rewarded"?' enquired Validus tentatively.
'"Yes, rewarded."'
'"What must we do?"' Alectasa asked.
Chapter 3[]
As Darth Alectasa's new flagship entered orbit over Thyferra he and Validus both gained a sense of excitement, at the prospect of battling a Sith Lord. Both Alectasa and Validus had been ordered to wipe out Iiniuria's forces as quickly as possible, and if possible capture the traitor and bring her to Korriban, to face the Council's judgement. Validus would be responsible for leading the Sith troopers into the assault whilst Alectasa snuck behind the lines and captured Iiniuria.
Now that the plan had been drawn together, the battle began with an immense bombardment of the planet's surface. Many of the planet's smaller cities were destroyed whilst Xozhixi was heavily damaged, instantly wiping out most of the traitor's forces. In the meantime the two Sith Knight's and their troops headed down to the planet in shuttle-craft and secured a large beachhead.
At first the two Sith Knights encountered little resistance, but slowly the number of enemy troops began to increase until all that differentiated the forces was their loyalty. They bore equal strength, equal spirits. Alectasa knew now that the time had come, and he left his forces in the capable hands of Validus, and began searching for the traitor.
Sweeping behind the enemy lines, Alectasa's lightsaber slew many Sith troopers before finally falling silent as none remained. He quietly made his way towards the Xozhixi's capital building, and the residence of Darth Iiniuria and infiltrated the facility unheard.
'Your time has come Iiniuria!' Alectasa shouted as the last of Iiniuria's personal guard dropped to the floor "You betrayed our Lord, and now you must face the consequences."
'And what, might I ask, would they be?' replied Iiniuria
'My blade…' and with this, Alectasa raised his lightsaber blade and swung at Iiniuria, forcing her to rapidly parry the attack, but at the cost of her position. Knocked from her throne, Iiniuria faced Alectasa on equal ground, and her skill with the lightsaber quickly began to show. Darth Alectasa slowly began to overpower her however, and within time Iiniuria was being forced into the defence.
In an act of desperation Iiniuria struck Alectasa on his temple with a strong gust of Force energy knocking him completely of balance. As she fled from Alectasa she suddenly stopped, and just in time, for as she did Darth Validus' own lightsaber blade swung down vertically, nearly striking Iiniuria on her skull.
Parrying Validus' attacks Iiniuria found herself battling two Sith Knights and knew that the battle was lost. In a last desperate attempt to survive Iinuria used the power of the dark side to eat away at Alectasa and Validus' minds, but in vain; for both the Sith Knights had learned to defend themselves from mental attacks.
Alectasa, growing weary of battle, decided to end the battle with the swing of his lightsaber, using Mou kei to dismember both of Iiniuria's legs; instantly incapacitating her.
Chapter 4[]
With Iiniuria in their hands, the two Sith Knights returned to Korriban to present their prisoner to the Dark Lord.
'Well done,' roared Darth Micail 'Well done indeed. Iiniuria's capture will show any other would-be traitors what awaits them should they decide to rebel against their Dark Lord.'
'Thank you' both Alectasa and Validus replied simultaneously, but Alectasa continued 'But, with all due respect, it seems odd to me that Iiniuria would rebel against you my Lord; without receiving support in some shape or form. Someone else is responsible, not Iiniuria.'
'That is correct my young Sith Knight, or Sith Lord should I say; to the both of you. Iiniuria was not acting alone, but her master has yet to show himself. Not an act of cowardice," he added having spotted the smirk on Validus' face "but simply an act of "watching ones back" should I say. Wyyrlok!'
'Yes, my lord' replied the fourth hooded figure that had remained un-named during the previous meeting.
'Take what remains of Iiniuria and patch her up. I want her in half-decent condition when I begin my questioning.'
'Yes, my lord.' And with this Wyyrlok left the room, sealing the chamber's rear door behind him. Alectasa and Validus, still shocked from their sudden promotions to the rank of Sith Lord, stood deadly still.
'Well?' Darth Adsec enquired, having realised the two Sith Lords were still present 'what are you still doing here? Go forth, receive your forces with pride.'
'But keep within the system, I sense that you will soon be needed once again.
'But before you go;' said Abeonis, signalling his fellow Council members to leave the chamber, 'I need to speak to you.'
Once alone, Abeonis revealed to the Sith Lords that their recent mission had been their induction into a new coalition of Sith Lords — the Sith Trinite.
